How to Style a Lace Wig? 

 

Step 1

Finger comb hair after attaching the lace wig to your head. Whether it is a curly wig or a straight hair wig, you need to take your fingers and just comb them through the hair to remove any tangles.

Step 2

Use a wig spray to add some sheen and bring life to the wig. Wig Spray 3-in-1 Formula is recommended; it is available at Beautymajor.com and costs just $2.99 as of December 2009. This will soften and condition the hair while adding moisture and sheen.

Step 3

Spray the hair using your wig spray from the top to the hair ends. Do not overspray the hair since this can cause product build-up.

Step 4

Comb or brush hair lightly to evenly distribute the hair product in the wig.

Step 5

Style human hair and heat-resistant fiber lace wigs using a flat iron to straighten hair or a to curl hair. Heat cannot be used on synthetic hair so you cannot alter the look of these wigs using heat. However, you can use heat on heat-resistant fiber wigs. Although they are not made of human hair, the fiber is designed to withstand the application of heat.
